HEIC to WebP
ProiPhones save photos as HEIC, which most browsers and CMSs cannot display. This tool converts them to WebP so you can publish them. Reading HEIC relies on your browser: Safari on macOS and iOS supports it, most others do not — the page checks this for you.
Reading HEIC depends on your browser: Safari on macOS, iPhone and iPad can; Chrome, Edge and Firefox cannot. The tool checks this before you start.

Frequently asked questions
Why does it not work in Chrome?
Chrome and Firefox cannot decode HEIC images. Open this page in Safari on a Mac, iPhone or iPad, or export the photos as JPG first.
Is location data removed?
Yes. The output is encoded from the pixels only, so GPS and camera data are not included.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The files are read and processed by your browser on your device. They are never sent to our servers or to any third party.
